Great material, it’s not like those soft plastics it has in most backpacks; this one looks like rubber/leather and it’s pretty firm and “tough.” Has a reasonable amount of pockets and compartments; zippers are of good quality. It is interesting to note that the upper “cover” is cherish for very resistant buttons/clips, so it is necessary to be careful not to pull badly and tear over time. The backpack is great! Much better than I expected
